Tender Loving Care Advice for Philodendron birkin in ceramic pot :
Philodendron birkin is famous for its gorgeous and stunning foliage. It has dark green leaves with a glossy hints of green and cream color creatively merged in the form of stripes. The plant is slow growth and has evergreen oval shaped leaves which stays intact throughout the year. Under good conditions, these plants can grow from 45cm - 1m in height. Like other members from the Family of Aroid, this plant is non pet friendly as the sap contains Calcium Oxalate crystals when can be harmful after ingestion.
Growing Conditions
Light: Prefers bright indirect light.
Water: The plant requires lots of humidity and regular watering. Make sure the soil is dry on top before re-watering.
Soil: Prefers nutrient rich, loose yet good moisture retention media.
Fertilizer: Required routine monthly fertilizer for good growth.
Others: These plants are very tolerant of temperate environments. However, they do not do well under cold, frosty temperatures.
