Often known as “Flame violets”, Episcia is a perennial herbaceous plant that comes in beautiful foliage.
Plants grow quickly and easily and produce stolons readily. They can be grown as hanging basket plants, or just as easily as potted plants for the table top or windowsill.
Episcia Thad’s Diamond Dust is a rare Episcia hybrid that comes with light green to silvery green foliage with pink overlay.
This plant is best to be placed under light shade or given artificial light. Allow getting slightly dry between waterings.
Growing Conditions
Light: Filtered light or partial shade is acceptable.
Water: Mist the plant once every 2 days, allow getting slightly dry between waterings. Preferred but shake off excess water after sitting in water.
Soil: It prefers well-drained loamy soil although it is adaptable to all kind of soil types.
Fertilizer: The plants required light dose fertilizer for good growth.
Others: Non toxic to pets.
