Tender Loving Care Advice for Crinum superbum (Giant Crinum Lily) in ceramic pot:

A large bulb bearing herbaceous plant which produces cluster of spidery-looking white flowers which are fragrant at night. The plant can grow to 1 meter in height and forms larger colonies of off-shoots when the plant grows older.

It has became a Lunar New Year Festive plant since year 2010 primarily due to its outlook which resembles the edible “Leek” an important vegetable with auspicious meaning of counting money in Chinese. However Crinum Superbum is non-edible.
