Tender Loving Care Advice for Nephrolepis cordata in ceramic pot :
Nephrolepis cordata is one cultivar of Boston ferns which has attractive long, graceful fronds bedecked with tiny leaves. It is a relatively tough, easy to propagate fern and tolerance to higher light and dry conditions than other species. Boston fern is relatively trouble-free, but it can occasionally suffer from some of the same problems common to many indoor plants, including scale, mealybugs, white flies and slugs if it grows outdoor.
Growing Conditions
Light: It prefers bright indirect light but will tolerate moderate shade indoor. Light shade would be required if growing outdoor.
Water: The plant requires moderately high humidity. Keep the soil well-watered. Make sure the drainage is good to avoid rotting the roots.
Soil: It prefers nutrient rich, loose yet good moisture retention media.
Fertilizer: Apply fertiliser once a month with a balanced fertiliser and more frequently during the growing period.
