Portulacaria afra is a type of succulent that elephants eat to quench their thirst, hence the common name Elephant's bush. It is easy to maintain and does not require much watering as they have fleshy stems with glossy leaves.
Light: Prefers indoor areas with no direct sunlight.
Water: Water approximately (40ml) when the top inch of the soil feels dry. Do not water when the soil is still moist.
Others: Trim off any yellow/ dead leaves on the plant. If there are signs of yellowing/ browning on the leaves could indicate over watering.
