Care & Maintenance
Light: Place the plant in a well-ventilated area where the plants can receive 4-6 hours of bright, indirect sunlight daily.
Water: Thoroughly water the roots until excess water drains out of the pot. Keep the surface of the leaves and flowers dry to reduce the risk of rotting. Water when the top of the sphagnum moss feels dry. Normally, twice a week should suffice.
Temperature: Plants can tolerate temperatures between 18-28°C.
Fertilizer: An orchid or all-purpose balanced fertilizer that contains equal amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (e.g. N-P-K: 21-21-21 +TE) will help to boost plant health. Foliar spray on plants is to be carried out once a week, with the recommended dosage indicated on the fertilizer’s application instructions.
Re-bloom: When the flowers are spent, (i) cut the flower spikes down to the level of the leaves or (ii) just above the node, directly below where the first flower bloomed.
