Guzmania variegated ‘White Line’ is an easy-to-care-for bromeliad. This interesting plant has variegated sword-shaped leaves and an upright and bright red flower.
Growing Conditions
Light: It prefers locations with bright light and good ventilation.
Water: Allow the plants to dry between waterings. Watering from bottom is preferred but shake off excess water after sitting in water.
Soil: It prefers high quality peat based and well drained loose media.
Fertilizer: Feed the plant every month 1-2 times with small amount of controlled release fertilizer.
Pests & diseases: Common pests include aphids, mealybug and whiteflies. Root rot can occur during raining season or use of wet growing substrate.
Others: Formation of brown tips at foliage is common in this variety. Avoid direct watering/misting on crown to prevent heart rot.
