Tender Loving Care Advice for Dracaena (Pleomele) Reflexa "Song of India" in ceramic pot :
Native to Madagascar, all varieties of Pleomele have short, narrow, pointed leaves that are spirally arranged on the stem and tufted at the ends of branches. The Song of India and Song of Jamaica are with yellow and white stripes on their leaves.
It is a slow growing, easy-care plant that can be used as a table plant, bush, or short tree.
Pleomele reflexa are considered to be slightly poisonous, especially to dogs and cats.
Light : Require bright indirect light. Exposure to full light will cause sun burnt on leaves.
Water: Like to be kept dry but require thorough wetness when perform watering.
Soil: It prefers well-drained loamy soil. Allow soil to dry out between watering.
Fertilizer: The plants required monthly application of fertiliser for good growth.
Others: Sensitive to fluorine in the water. Best to use rain water or allow water to sit out for 24 hours.
