Tender Loving Care Advice for Ficus lyrata in ceramic pot :

The fiddle-leaf fig (Ficus lyrata) is a popular indoor plant that can withstand a less-than-perfect environment than most other interior deco specimen plants. It is relatively disease and pest free.

The fiddle-leaf fig does not respond well to being moved, especially from a spot where it is thriving. Proper drainage, adequate sunlight (direct but not harsh) will keep the fiddle-leaf fig bright green with its signature glossy finish.

Growing Conditions

Light: It prefers bright, filtered light.

Water: The plant requires moderate amount of moisture in the soil. Make sure the soil is dry on top before re-watering.

Soil: Any good quality potting mix for indoor plants will be suitable for fiddle leaf fig. Ensure that the soil is well drained.

Fertilizer: The plants required routine but diluted foliar spray for good growth. Constant flushing helps to reduce build up of salt content in soil, which promotes healthy root development.

Others: These plants do not tolerate cold and frosty conditions. Fiddle leaf fig will drop their lower leaves when they grow taller. Removal of old leaves would encourage new growth at the top.
