Similar to Mozambique's Ribbon Spurge except that it is a hybrid featuring yellow veins on their three-angled flat stems. Euphorbia 'Sunrise' is architecturally interesting as a house and office plant. Also, it is easy to be taken care of as it does not really need full sun. Their stems can be cut and easily rooted for a new potted plant. Like many Euphorbias, extra precautions are necessary while handling them as they exude irritating sap.
Light: Place the plant in a well-ventilated area whereby it can receive 4-6 hours of bright sunlight daily. However, it does well when grown under light shade or dappled sunlight.
Water: Once every other day, water the plants thoroughly till excess water drains out of the pot. Allow substrates to dry out in between waterings.
Temperature: Plant tolerates temperatures from 26-30°C.
Fertilizer: To boost plant's overall health, feed it with a diluted concentration of water-soluble, balanced fertilizer that contains equal amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (e.g. N-P-K: 15-15-15) once every two weeks. Otherwise, a slow-release fertilizer (e.g. Osmocote) can be incorporated into the potting media, and to be replenished after about 2-3 months. Do follow the recommended dosage indicated on the fertilizer’s application instructions.
