A spectacular slow-growing bromeliads that requires minimum care. It thrives well under light conditions ranging from bright light indoors to strong filtered light outdoor. Strong bright light gives a more vibrant red foliage. It is generally free from pests and diseases and the offsets/pups root easily under warm conditions.
Caution: Plant has spiny and serrated leaf margins which require care when handling.
Growing Conditions
Light: Filtered light to full sun or partial to full shade are acceptable. This plant is not particular to light levels.
Water: Mist the plant once every 2 days, avoid complete drying out of soils between two waterings.
Soil: It prefers well-drained loamy soil although it is adaptable to all kind of soil types.
Fertilizer: The plants required light dose fertiliser for good growth.
Others: Mildly toxic to pets.
