Sansevieria masoniana, commonly known as Mason’s Congo or Whale fin is a semi-succulent and evergreen plant with beautifully mottled pattern-leaves.
This stemless perennial is hardy and drought tolerance and is recognised as a good air purifier to remove benzene and formaldehyde from home and offices. It is an easy-care plant and performs best in good light or sunny locations. It is relatively free from pests or diseases.
Growing Conditions
Light: Filtered light to full sun or partial to full shade are acceptable. This plant is not particular to light levels.
Water: Needs little water and is very drought tolerant. Allow soil to dry out between watering.
Soil: It prefers well-drained loamy soil although it is adaptable to all kind of soil types.
Fertilizer: The plants required light dose fertilizer for good growth.
Others: Mildly toxic to pets.
