Tender Loving Care Advice for Monstera Peru (Karstenianum) in ceramic pot :
Monstera Peru is a rare but fast growing plant from the Aroid family. It has gloriously wrinkled shimmering leaves that are textured and firm. It can be grown in a hanging basket but only when grown on a totem, a larger and healthier growth can be expected.
Despite the mild toxic to human and pets, Monstera Peru makes a great houseplant because of the vivid dark-and-light green mottling of the leaves that stay colorful all year.
Growing Conditions
Light: It prefers bright indirect light but will tolerate moderate shade.
Water: The plant requires moderate humidity. Make sure the soil is dry on top before re-watering.
Soil: It prefers nutrient rich, loose yet good moisture retention media.
Fertilizer: Apply fertilizer once monthly with a balanced fertilizer and more frequently during the growing period.
